Wil-Trans Apprenticeship Program (WIL-TAP) is designed to provide student drivers with the skills and knowledge they need to pass their CDL exam PLUS provide the necessary training and experience that can only be learned by over-the-road experience in a safe environment with a certified trainer.
What sets Wil-Trans apart from traditional truck driving schools?
- Wil-Trans will only accept students that will qualify to drive for the company. This means you will begin employment immediately after passing your CDL exam and you won’t waste any time looking for work.
- Wil-Trans won’t stop training students after they receive their CDL like most schools. Wil-Trans students continue on-the-road training with a certified instructor, and they guarantee that after completing the program, you will be prepared for a driving career.
The program begins with a 3 week course in Springfield, Missouri where transportation, lodging and lunch is provided. You are not required to have your CDL permit when you arrive, but it is highly encouraged. Wil-Trans will provide the tools and the training that you need to get your Class-A CDL.
