Wil-Trans: Congratulations on being Drivers of the Year. What has helped you the most in winning this award?

Gayla: Working at Wil-Trans has been a very enjoyable and rewarding experience. Steve and I have never leased a truck before, so this is a completely new and exciting adventure for us.

Right from the start, our support system has been outstanding. Darrel Lake, our Fleet Manager, always has time to answer any questions or address any concerns that we might have. Everyone in the office has patiently answered all of our questions, from log issues to safety issues. We greatly appreciate this. The mechanics in the shop are very knowledgeable and willing to work with us to keep the truck properly maintained.

Steve and I are very happy working at Wil-Trans and plan to be here for many years to come.

Stephen: Gayla and I are honored to have been chosen for "Driver of the Year." We never dreamed we would even come close to be chosen for Drivers of the Year. I gotta say though, it was definitely a team effort. Gayla makes sure the paperwork is right as well as a good portion of the driving. Darrel Lake, our Fleet Manager, goes above and beyond the call of duty. He always has our needs in mind. He always calls me and tells me the plan he has to generate the most revenue for the truck. Darrel would do just about anything to keep us happy and we would definitely bend over backward for him.

Darrel Wilson, the owner, is extremely friendly and down to earth. His open door policy gives us access to deal with any issues we may have. He even took the time to sit down and discuss the business aspects of this industry with us. He gave us his cell phone number in case we had any more questions. This is the kind of man I want to work for and feel lucky to have found Wil-Trans.

Wil-Trans is a very easy company to work for. All of the office personnel are friendly and willing to help any way they can. The shop is also very friendly and professional. The mechanics are very knowledgeable about the truck we drive.

We hope to be with Wil-Trans for many years to come.
