What can I expect?

Wil-Trans’ recruiting team thoroughly screens driver applications and performs background investigations to make sure each and every driver will be a good fit for our company. Once that process is complete, it’s time to meet Wil-Trans so drivers can really get to know the company and we as a company can really get to know you as a driver. This is one area where Wil-Trans is unique.

Orientation is held in Springfield, Missouri, every other week for experienced drivers. We provide a bus ticket to Springfield or we will reimburse you for fuel if you choose to provide your own transportation. Lodging and three meals a day will be provided while you attend orientation, just have a little pocket money for any incidentals you may need.

During the 2 1/2-day stay with us, you will learn about company policies and operational procedures, tour the facility, receive final evaluations and complete all qualification paperwork and DOT files. This is your time to get familiar with Wil-Trans. Ask questions and get to know our culture. There will be classroom presentations from various departments within the company so take a few notes and be ready for a Smith System Defensive Driving course before you leave.
